Who We Are
Youth Empowerment Wave Global (YEWGlobal) is a Non-Governmental Organisation registered under the laws of Ghana that aims at empowering and engaging with young entrepreneurs across the globe on their quest for success. We are a dynamic, and worldwide movement igniting the potential of young minds by embarking on a journey with aspiring entrepreneurs, potential business owners, and young adults. YEWGlobal is a catalyst for change, empowering youth to lead, innovate, and transform their communities. We are focus in shaping the world of young entrepreneurs through mentorship, education, and collaborative initiatives such as YEWGlobal interviews and blogs on our official website. In this manner, we unleash the boundless creativity and energy of young leaders.

Our primary objective at YEWGlobal is to motivate and encourage young adults to establish a business at a young age by watching and reading our published stories and magazines on the advantages and disadvantages of establishing a business as a young entrepreneur to help minimize the rate of youth unemployment in Ghana. We believe the knowledge acquired through our interviews, blogs, and magazines can have a fundamental impact on the very first stages of starting a business.

YEWGlobal was created in 2017, and since our very first day, we’ve publishing amazing interviews and stories about our exceptional young entrepreneurs. We want to prove to every single one of our subscribers that a goal can be achieved through hard work and determination because 'they’ve’ achieved theirs. Through our research, we collected data that indicated the rate of youth unemployment especially amongst graduates in Accra, Ghana. By encouraging vocational and technical skills, entrepreneurship can be achieved which we believe will contribute to minimizing the rate of youth unemployment within our communities through the creation of jobs.

The YEWGlobal Magazine is a new innovative digital magazine introduced by our CEO Ms. Edma Ohemaa Lawer to publish success stories and interviews of selected individuals who have succeeded above the odds by using their creative minds, life skills, and abilities to beat a behavioural system that does not always favour the youth, especially in Africa. The Magazine can be purchased digitally online via the YEWGlobal Website through subscription or email for hard copies.

YEWGlobal as an NGO believes in the philanthropy and social well-being of young adults who aspire to become entrepreneurs in the future. Our secondary objective is to contribute to the educational system in Ghana through vocational and technical education, charitable activities, entrepreneurial courses, and networking events. These particular initiatives has brought forth our new projects; the YEW Global Project, the YEWGlobal Foundation, and the YEWGlobal Events.
